Lease renewal on behalf of a tenant

Our client was an international modelling and talent agency headquartered in New York whose landlord at Morelands is a premier league property investor and developer.

Clerkenwell rents had increased significantly during the period from the last rent review to the lease expiry and we were required to keep the rent at renewal as low as possible whilst obtaining greater flexibility within the new lease terms to accommodate the uncertainty over the UK existing the European Union.

Following multiple diversions from both landlord and tenant, terms for a new lease were agreed and a new lease was signed, accommodating both parties needs.
